This role is for a Senior Murex Front Office Specialist within a prestigious global professional services firm known for its exceptional workplace culture. Based in Bratislava, Slovakia, the specialist will be a key member of a team supporting a long-term project, acting as the primary point of contact for traders. The position focuses on providing critical support for the Murex Front Office module, handling configuration, and resolving complex issues related to trading activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and continuous system improvement.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for traders, providing support for P&L and position mismatches, market operations, and other Front Office issues.
Configure and maintain financial data in Murex, including curves, securities, generators, and indices.
Develop and implement new pre-trade rules, create lookup tables, simulation views, and customize the e-tradepad.
Report on project progress, issues, and critical blockers to management and other stakeholders.
Analyze and understand the impact of new changes and system updates when they are introduced into the production environment.
Ensure effective collaboration with other internal Murex teams, clients, and change teams to share information and resolve issues.
Job Requirements:
Upper-intermediate English proficiency (IELTS 5.5 - 6.0)
5-6 years of hands-on experience with Murex implementation and/or support, specifically on the Mx.3.1 platform.
Proficiency in Front Office modules of Murex, including E-Tradepad, Simulation, and Viewers.
Strong functional knowledge in at least two of the following asset classes: Credit Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX Cash, FX Derivatives, Commodities, or Structured Derivatives.
Solid understanding of Trade Pricing, Valuation Models, Risk Management, and Sensitivities/Greeks, with practical configuration experience.
Familiarity with the Murex Data Model, database queries (SQL), basic Unix commands, and programming using Excel/Visual Basic.
Knowledge of FRTB (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) exposure is advantageous.
