This role is positioned within a leading global professional services firm renowned for its innovation and workplace excellence. Based in Slovakia, the consultant will play a pivotal role in fortifying clients' cloud environments by conducting in-depth technical analysis of their Azure infrastructure and security posture. The mission is to enhance system reliability, resiliency, and recoverability by providing actionable recommendations on everything from high-availability design and disaster recovery to Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs) and security configurations using the latest Microsoft Azure security services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth technical analysis of cloud infrastructure, application dependencies, observability configurations, and failover capabilities.

  • Evaluate and strengthen security configurations for Azure AD (Entra ID), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Azure security services like Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

  • Review, enhance, and design Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs), including escalation protocols, communication plans, and recovery strategies.

  • Assess the overall resiliency and security posture of customer environments from both technical and operational perspectives.

  • Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and single points of failure across workloads and operational processes.

  • Deliver professional, customer-facing documentation that summarizes technical findings and provides mature, actionable recommendations for process and security improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency (IELTS 5.5 - 6.0)

  • Upper-intermediate German proficiency

  • Hands-on experience in cloud security architecture and assessment, specifically within Microsoft Azure environments.

  • Proven experience with Azure security and governance services, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Key Vault, Azure AD (Entra ID), PIM, Azure Policy, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.

  • Deep understanding and experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) design in Microsoft Azure.

  • Proven ability to assess and design effective Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs) that align with operational SLAs and business risk tolerances.

  • Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for both technical and executive stakeholders.

  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-400, SC-100, AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300, or AZ-104 are considered a strong advantage.
