Description
A dental technician’s role is to assist in the provision of fixed or removable prostheses and associated digital products, that allow dentists to provide excellent care for their patients. The employer’s ability to assist dentists in providing exceptional care is directly proportional to the quality of work produced. Ensuring the high quality of every product that leaves the lab is of the utmost importance.
Responsibilities
Fabricate of fixed or removable prostheses, as well as associated products and services.
Involved in general procedures such as pouring up models,
Complete all basic tasks at a high level, and work towards competency across all areas.
Make dental ceramics and dental prosthetics such as bridges, dental implants, and porcelain or ceramic crowns.
Fill prescriptions for specially ordered dental materials and supply dental ceramics using the tools and equipment in a dental lab
Qualifications
Upper-Intermediate communication skills in English, both written and oral
Experience in digital designing
Have 3+ years of crown and bridging experience
Have experience as a ceramist – laying porcelain and building up teeth.
