As a Technical Consultant, you will work with outstanding digital talent across disciplines to innovate and create great solutions for iconic brands. With experience in small to large business transformation and a firm knowledge of how agile development teams operate, you’ll be an integral part of the technical design of new software and processes.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to collaborate with a cross-functional team to take the business requirements, translate these into technical specifications, and implement a high-quality solution based on the Salesforce technology platform.
Gathering technical requirements to help solve some of the most exciting problems for our clients
Evaluating the technical impacts and other business or change impacts that come because of the solutions you produce
Analyzing and understanding application development patterns to best apply them to requirements
Developing clean, well-tested platform configuration and code through to production
Demonstrating an appetite to continuously improve technical processes and ways of working, exploring new frameworks and design patterns that help us deliver solutions that excite our client's customers
Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Minimum 4 years of experience working as a software engineer
Good understanding of at least one programming language
Knowledge of the software development life-cycle and release management approaches
Proactive interest in improving your technical knowledge on the platform
Passionate about solving complex problems and being creative in how to best meet the requirements
A balance of logical problem-solving and innovative thinking
Desirable:Experience with Salesforce
Experience with other enterprise technology such as Java, front-end web development, JavaScript, and JavaScript framework
Experience with relational database concepts and data modeling
Experience translating user stories (business requirements) into build
Experience working successfully in diverse teams of various sizes and geographical locations
Strong presentation and communication skills, especially as part of a client facing role
University Degree or equivalent
