The employer is looking for a Senior Marine Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Perth and be a part of our long-term ports and terminals strategy. Responsibilities
Manage design teams and contribute to the first-class delivery of marine structure projects.
Develop, manage, and assist with routine and complex port, offshore, and waterfront structural engineering projects
Manage engineering and preparation of plans and specifications
Manage project delivery from conception through completion
Participate in proposal preparation and interviews, as necessary
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
A Tertiary degree in structural engineering or a related field
7+ years of experience in structural engineering (mainly marine structural engineering), including ports and marine projects such as wharves, jetties, breakwaters, etc.
Strong hands-on working knowledge and experience with structural engineering analysis software, preferably Space Gass, Finite element modeling Eg. Strand7
Demonstrated marine structural design (candidates can share their portfolio)
