This opportunity involves using manual lathes and manual Milling machines to fabricate a variety of hydraulic components, such as threaded rods, cylinder tubes, pistons, and glands.

Responsibilities

Daily operation and maintenance of the various manual machines. Including lathes, milling machines (horizontal and vertical)
Making drawings based on sample components
Documenting your work and each component
Working with Co-workers to complete tasks on time and ensure quality standards are met
Keeping your work area safe and clean

Qualifications

Upper-intermediate communication skills in English, both written and oral
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED
Basic understanding of hydraulics or controls
Ability to work with basic hand and power tools
Ability to perform basic mathematic calculations including addition, subtraction, fractions, measurement, and percentages and converting between metric and standard measurements.
Ability to use and read micrometers and calipers.
