Position Description
As a mammographer, you will be detecting breast tissue abnormalities in the breast clinics through different imaging studies alongside a team of professionals. You will ensure that every patient receives all the necessary elements of the diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
Perform administrative tasks such as checking the patients’ appointments and reviewing their imaging order
Assist the patients in a step-by-step attitude during the mammography study
Ensure the safety of patient and staff by using radiation protection techniques
Follow established standards when performing mammograms
Communicate with a team of professionals to ensure delivery of top service to the patients
Ensure the availability of all necessary mammography supplies and equipment in good condition and enough capacity
Qualifications
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Experience in a related professional field
A bachelor’s degree in Radiography (or equivalent)
