A cooperative providing agricultural employment solutions in Ireland, specializing in dairy farming roles is hiring a Dairy Farm Assistant. This position supports daily farm operations with a focus on animal care and milk production. Ideal for hands-on candidates with proven dairy experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform animal husbandry tasks for dairy cows (feeding, health monitoring).
Operate milking equipment and ensure proper milk handling procedures.
Maintain and operate farm machinery (tractors, feeders).
Assist with farm maintenance (fencing, equipment repairs).
Monitor milk quality control (optional but beneficial).
Requirements:
English fluency (spoken and comprehension).
5+ years’ dairy farm experience (flexible if skills are demonstrated).
Proficiency in animal husbandry (cows), milking duties, and machinery operation.
Knowledge of milk quality control and farm maintenance (desired).
Eligibility:
