Sharing our progress and scaling our impact on World Refugee Day

Today is World Refugee Day. At Talent Beyond Boundaries, we are excited to join the global community in celebrating the resilience and remarkable contributions of refugees everywhere.

Our focus is on empowering more displaced people to reach their full potential as part of the global workforce; improving their own lives and enriching the communities they become a part of.

In our Global Strategy 2023-2027 we shared our plan for how we will help thousands of displaced people benefit from skilled migration over the coming years, while establishing the foundations for the sustainable growth of refugee labour mobility beyond 2027. Today, I’m proud to share our latest Impact Snapshot report, showcasing our progress towards this ambitious goal.

The impact showcased in this report is in part thanks to our (growing!) network of partner organizations around the world. I’m so grateful for their contributions.

I’m also very happy to launch our new Global Impact Dashboard - an online platform tracking key metrics across every aspect of our work. Given TBB’s data-driven, open source, tech-enabled approach to scaling displaced talent mobility globally, it only felt natural to employ this same approach internally when designing a solution to track our organization’s progress.

The data on the Global Impact Dashboard is continuously syncing with our back-end systems, so will always be up-to-date. I invite you to check it out, and bookmark it for future reference!

Donate to help us scale our impact

In just a few short years, TBB has helped more than 1200 displaced people migrate internationally for work. And as a result of our advocacy, seven countries have now established refugee labour mobility pathways.

But there is more to do.

More than 65,000 people have registered on the Talent Catalog and are waiting for our help to apply for jobs internationally. At the same time, we need to step up our advocacy to open more pathways in more countries, and invest in the technological infrastructure that will enable this solution to scale through hundreds of partners globally.

That’s why I’m asking TBB supporters to donate to our World Refugee Day fundraising appeal. Together, we can help even more refugees migrate for work, using their skills to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
