About the Role
As a Truck Mechanic / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will perform maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, safety inspections, and mechanical repairs on heavy trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles. This role offers a direct pathway for skilled mechanics to relocate and work in Germany.
Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Inspection: Perform computer diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting on heavy commercial vehicles, diesel engines, and brake systems.
Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine maintenance, oil changes, transmission servicing, and mechanical repairs on trucks, tractor units, and trailers.
System Overhauls: Inspect, repair, or replace hydraulic, pneumatic, and air brake components.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all serviced commercial vehicles comply with strict German road safety and emissions regulations.
Requirements
Education: Completed vocational training (2+ years) or a university degree (3+ years) in Commercial Vehicle Mechanics, Heavy Equipment, or an equivalent field.
Practical Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on professional experience as a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Technician / Truck Mechanic.
Language Proficiency: German language proficiency at level A2 or higher.
Desirable: Partial recognition notice (Teilannerkennung) from a German authority (a strong plus).
