As part of a cross-functional agile team, you will deliver high-quality, innovative trading and market data software solutions to our clients, providing value to their business. You will be involved in creating, building, and deploying new features and experiences on our highly scalable and customizable market data interface that provides real-time market data.
Responsibilities
Innovate, design and develop solutions on a Market data software application used by the majority of Australian professionals.
Perform software engineering tasks to ensure the highest levels of product quality are met
Coach, mentor and uplift junior engineers technical skills via pairing, feedback and other avenues.
Assist in identifying product and process weaknesses and possible refinements in an environment of continual evolution and improvement.
Keep up to date with technical trends, tools and methodologies, undertake research as required
Qualifications
Upper-Intermediate communication skills in English, both written and oral
An ability to work with others to reach a common solution
Love for sharing knowledge and helping others
Solid experience in innovative R&D development environments
Demonstrable strong design, development, and collaboration skills gained in developing software product solutions
Experience working in Agile process and result-oriented culture
C++
SQL
Preferred but not essential: Development or scripting skills (Python), Cloud – AWS
