As a Quality Assurance Leader, you will play an instrumental role in providing technical, quality, and food safety support to onsite Quality, Research, and Development, as well as the Operations departments in addition to the Corporate functions as required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the manufacture of all products is in strict compliance with all Quality System requirements to guarantee a safe and consistently high-quality product.

  • Actively engage in the management of the site’s Hold & Release program to ensure the manufacture of all products is in strict compliance with all Quality System requirements

  • Food safety compliance and liaison with Campbell Soup Company to meet requirements of Licensing agreement

  • Actively engage in the maintenance of the site’s Quality management system (HACCP & Pre-requisite Programs, GFSI Certification, NCR, Internal audit system, External audits, Document Control, and Regulatory compliance)

  • Data analysis to enable continuous improvement in all aspects of product quality to drive growth by reductions in consumer complaints, deviation from scheduled processes, manufacturing losses, and product out-of-specification

  • Lead or support assigned NPD, enabler, and/or capital projects, including food safety validation and verification activities to meet GFSI, Regulatory, and Licensing agreement requirements

  • Complete consumer complaint investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.

  • Improve employee engagement through leadership and modeling positive behaviors consistent with company and site values

  • Develop and maintain an active best-sharing network with key suppliers, service providers, and other TAG sites

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral

  • Tertiary degree in Food Science, Science, or equivalent as a minimum

  • Technical aptitude and ability to analyze and interpret data to assess food safety risk profile

  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence and build effective, trusted relationships with key stakeholders

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-motivation with the ability to prioritize

  • Intermediate computer literacy – email, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), word processing (Microsoft Word), and graphics (PowerPoint). Having database knowledge (Access) and SAP is desirable.

  • Thermal experience is preferred, but not essential.
