An employer is looking to recruit Pediatric, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurses. They are specifically seeking registered nurses with a minimum of 2 years of experience in these nursing specialties to relocate to Ireland.

Responsibilities for:

NICU Nurses:

  • Monitor and assess newborns in the NICU, including vital signs, oxygen levels, and feeding patterns.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

  • Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators and incubators.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and social workers to provide comprehensive care.

  • Educate and support parents on caring for their newborn, including breastfeeding techniques and developmental milestones.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.

PICU Nurses:

  • Assess and monitor patients in the PICU, including vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatment.

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

  • Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, surgeons, and respiratory therapists to provide comprehensive care.

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects within the PICU.

Pediatric Nurses:

  • Perform physical assessments and administer vaccinations and medications to pediatric patients.

  • Educate patients and their families on preventive health measures and disease management.

  • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

  • Provide emotional support to pediatric patients and their families during hospitalization or treatment.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.

Main Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric, NICU, or PICU nursing

  • English proficiency equivalent to a score of 5.5 in IELTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is mandatory
