The employer is looking for a highly qualified legal advisor to lead their team in understanding EU regulations for AI, cybersecurity, and data. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting their customers and partners, contributing to their Sales and Marketing activities, and presenting findings and recommendations to international audiences.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Expertise:

Thoroughly research, study, and stay updated with the key EU Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and data regulations.
Interpret and provide insights into how these regulations impact the employer’s business and clients.

Client Support:

Function as the primary point of contact for the employer’s customers and partners regarding EU AI, Cybersecurity, and data legal queries.
Ensure clients receive accurate, timely, and strategic legal advice.

Sales and Marketing:

Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to provide legal insights that can enhance business strategies.
Contribute to creating content, seminars, or workshops that highlight the employer’s expertise in EU AI, Cybersecurity, and data regulations.

Presentations:

Prepare and present findings, updates, and strategic recommendations to international audiences, ranging from internal teams to clients and industry conferences.
Translate complex legal jargon into understandable insights for non-legal professionals.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Proficiency in either Dutch or French is desirable
Law degree from a recognized university.
Specialization in EU Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and data regulations or a similar field is a plus.
Some or No experience in the field of EU regulations related to Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and data management.
Some or No experience in presenting to diverse and international audiences.
Experience in working with Sales and Marketing teams is an added advantage.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
