GREEN
HORIZONS

Powering the climate transition through a new green skills platform for 10,000+ displaced talents

The world faces a critical shortage of green-skilled workers, while millions of refugees and migrants remain locked out of meaningful work.

The Green Horizons Platform connects this untapped talent with climate-critical jobs through ethical, legal, and scalable pathways.

The Platform has been developed by a coalition of 20+ partners, incubated by the Bellagio Coalition for Green Skills Pathways and coordinated by Talent Beyond Boundaries.

We are seeking visionary, climate-aligned funders to co-create the first purpose-built initiative for safe, legal, and scalable green labor mobility.

Opportunities for engagement:

  • Rolling green hills under a partly cloudy sky with sunlight casting shadows.

Feature your Displaced Talent Mobility Project

Our goal is to highlight scalable, high-integrity initiatives across Germany, Italy, UK, and more, and bring to life the impact of connecting human potential to climate need.

Venice Commitment Summit

Building on previous engagement, the Green Horizons Platform will be hosting the Venice Commitment Summit in Venice, Italy on Ocotber 16-17, 2025. With the generous support of Fondazione Generali - The Human Safety Net, the summit will convene a selected group of about 50 senior leaders and decision-makers who are positioned to make meaningful commitments — whether financial, political, or operational.

Participants will include representatives from coalition partners, philanthropic and climate funders, governments, global institutions, and forward-looking employers — each bringing resources, authority, or implementation capacity essential to driving the platform forward.
